【摘要】:Thedielectricbreakdownvoltageanddielectricstrengthofaninsulatinggasinauniformfielddependsprimarilyonthemolecularstructureofthegas.Asdifferentgasesaremixedeitherbyplanorbycontamination,anychangeindielectricbreakdownvoltageanddielectricstrengthwilldependonboththenatureandproportionoftheindividualgases.Thistestmethodusesplaneandsphericalelectrodeswhichprovideanearlyuniformfield(seeAppendix)intheareaofelectricaldischarge.Itissuitablefordeterminingthedielectricbreakdownvoltageanddielectricstrengthofdifferentgasesandmixturesthereofforresearchandapplicationevaluationsandalsoasafieldtest.AmorecompletediscussionofthesignificanceofthedielectricstrengthtestisgivenintheAppendix.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedielectricbreakdownvoltageanddielectricstrengthofinsulatinggasesusedintransformers,circuitbreakers,cables,andsimilarapparatusasaninsulatingmedium.Thetestmethodisapplicableonlytogaseswithboilingpointsbelowroomtemperatureatatmosphericpressure.1.2Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPA''swebsite8212;http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htmforadditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryand/ormercurycontainingproductsintoyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofdynamicmechanicalinstrumentationforgatheringandreportingtheviscoelasticpropertiesofthermoplasticandthermosettingresinsandcompositesystemsintheformofcylindricalspecimensmoldeddirectlyorcutfromsheets,plates,ormoldedshapes.Thecompressiondatageneratedmaybeusedtoidentifythethermomechanicalpropertiesofaplasticsmaterialorcompositionusingavarietyofdynamicmechanicalinstruments.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovidemeansfordeterminingthemodulusasafunctionoftemperatureofawidevarietyofplasticsmaterialsusingnonresonantforced-vibrationtechniques,asoutlinedinPracticeD4065.Plotsoftheelastic(storage),loss(viscous)andcomplexmoduliandtandeltaasafunctionoffrequency,time,ortemperatureareindicativeofsignificanttransitionsinthethermomechanicalperformanceofthepolymericmaterialsystem.Thistestmethodisvalidforawiderangeoffrequencies,typicallyfrom0.01to100Hz.Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Theseapparentdifferencesfromresultsobservedinanotherstudycanusuallybereconciled,withoutchangingtheobserveddata,byreportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtained.Duetopossibleinstrumentationcompliance,thedatageneratedareintendedtoindicaterelativeandnotnecessarilyabsolutepropertyvalues.Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodisrelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
