【摘要】:ThisdevicetemplateiscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitecture,Version1.0.Thisservice-typeenablesaUPnPcontrolpointtoconfigureandcontroltheparameterspertainingtoauthenticationbyanauthenticationserver.Theservicespecifiesvariablesandactionsthatareusedbycontrolpointstoadd,updateanddeleterecordsusedforauthentication.Thiswouldtypicallybeusedformaintainingper-clientauthenticationparametersonadevice.Thisservicewouldsupportauser/clientlistwiththecredentials(password,publickey)andthespecificaccessrightsonaper-userbasis.Theserviceismainlydesignedforauthenticationonawirelessaccesspoint(AP)thatimplementslinklayersecuritysuchas802.1x.Itmaybeusedforotherpurposes-e.g.,tosecurelystoreclientcredentialssuchascertificatesandasymmetrickeysfornetwork-layersecurityprotocols.Theworkingcommitteehashoweverlookedatthisserviceonlyfromtheperspectiveof802.1xusageandthereforethisdocumentmakesseveralreferencestothe802.1xprotocol.Thisservicemaybeco-locatedwiththeaccesspointdevicethatrequirestheauthenticationserviceorlocatedonadifferentdeviceonthenetworksuchasanInternetGatewayDevice(IGD).TheservicewasdefinedtoassociateWLANclientsandtheircredentialstobootstrapasecureWLANinaUPnPtechnologycompliantWLANAccessPointDevice*.Thisserviceisdefinedasastandaloneserviceandwillremainatthecomponentlevel.Anyproductthatimplementsastandarddevicespecificationwillhavetheoptiontoimplementthisstandardservicespecification.Theproductwillbetestedatcertificationtestingtimeforthisserviceinadditiontobeingtestedtotheproduct’soriginaldevicetype(e.g.,WLANAccessPointDevice,InternetGatewayDevice).
