【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardgivesguidanceongeneraltestingprocedurestoassessthesterilizabilityformicro-organismsofequipment(componentsandunitsofequipment)usedinbiotechnologicalprocesses.ThisEuropeanStandardgivesguidanceontheassessmentofthesterilizabilityofbiotechnologicalequipmentwithrespecttoareleaseofprocessmicro-organismsthatcanaffectthesafetyoftheworker(occupationalhealth)and/orthatcanhaveadverseeffectstotheenvironment.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoplantsorcomponents,suchasvalvesandfittings,tanks,pumps,piping,separatingandfillingdevicesaswellasinstrumentationincontactwithprocessfluids.ThisEuropeanStandardappliesiftheintendeduseoftheequipmentincludeshazardousorpotentiallyhazardousmicro-organisms.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletotestingforsterilityofmediaandequipmentpriortoprocessingoroperation,respectively.NOTE1Fordisinfectionofexternalsurfacessuchaswalls,workingbenchesandfloors,attentionisdrawntonationalandEuropeanStandards.NOTE2ForsterilizationofequipmentandmediainautoclavesattentionisdrawntonationalandEuropeanStandardssuchasEN285andEN554(seeannexC[21],[22]).
